Kia Syros, Seltos, Carens, and Sonet offered with discounts of up to Rs 1.60 lakh

Kia India is offering big discounts on its ICE offerings this month. Kia Syros, Seltos, Carens, Carens Clavis, and Sonet are available with discounts of up to Rs 1.60 lakh. The Carnival MPV is the only ICE model in Kia’s portfolio that has not received any discounts this month. Its EV lineup has not received any offers either.

Kia Syros

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.60 lakh

Kia Syros has received discounts worth up to Rs 1.60 lakh this month. The compact SUV comes in 6 variants: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and HTX+ (O). There are 2 engines on offer – a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 120hp and 172Nm of torque. It can be linked to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Meanwhile, the diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 115hp and 250Nm of torque. This engine also gets 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter gearbox. Prices for the Syros start at Rs 8.67 lakh and go up to Rs 15.94 lakh.

Kia Seltos

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.47 lakh

The Seltos SUV is available with discounts worth up to Rs 1.47 lakh in October. Its prices start at Rs 10.79 lakh and go up to Rs 19.81 lakh. There are 3 engine options on offer – 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 144Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine puts out 160hp. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 116hp and 250Nm of torque.

Kia Carens and Carens Clavis

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.42 lakh

The Carens and Carens Clavis MPVs are available with offers worth up to Rs 1.42 lakh. Kia recently added a new HTX(O) trim to the MPV’s lineup. It joins the HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+ (O), HTX, and HTX+ variants. It comes in 6 and 7-seater variants.

The Carens and Carens Clavis are available in 3 engine options – 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. The NA petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 144Nm of torque. The diesel engine puts out 116hp and 250Nm. Lastly, the turbo-petrol unit generates 160hp and 253Nm.

Kia Sonet

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.03 lakh

The Sonet SUV is available with discounts worth up to Rs 1.03 lakh this month. Its prices start at Rs 7.30 lakh and go up to Rs 14 lakh. There are 3 engine options on offer – 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 83hp and 115Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine churns out 120hp and 172Nm. It can be paired with an iMT or DCT gearbox. Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a maximum power output of 116hp and 250Nm of torque. This diesel engine gets the option of a manual gearbox on top of an iMT or automatic gearbox.

Final Thoughts

As mentioned earlier, these discounts will expire on October 31. The value of these discounts may vary among variants, regions, and dealerships. Kia has also decided to pass forward the benefits received from GST 2.0 to its customers.
