Hyundai Creta N Line Night Edition unveiled

Hyundai has taken the wraps off its latest special edition offering in Brazil, the Hyundai Creta N Line Night Edition. The new ‘Night Edition’ of the Creta comes with a series of cosmetic upgrades that give the SUV a bold, menacing look. It is unclear whether Hyundai will launch this special edition of Creta in India. Currently, there is a ‘Knight Edition’ of the Creta available in India, although it looks much different to the Night Edition.

Hyundai Creta N Line Night Edition: What’s new?

The new Hyundai Creta N Line Night Edition comes with a new grille up front. The parametric design of the grille looks similar to the one in Tucson. There are new black inserts in the grille, playing up the ‘Night’ aspect of the SUV. The bumper design receives a few tweaks as well, with the fog lamps now placed in a vertical position. The air vent finds its way between the grille and the bonnet.

Along the sides, the Hyundai Creta N Line Night Edition receives new 17-inch alloy wheels. The window sill and side skirts also receive a glossy black finish. At the rear, the tailgate gets a design tweak as well. The LED taillamps have been smoked while the rear bumper gets a faux diffuser. Overall, the all-black look of the SUV is quite fitting of the Night Edition monicker.

The all-black theme continues inside the cabin as well. The all-black upholstery gets red stitching as highlights. The ‘N Line’ branding can also be found inside the SUV. The red highlights also make an appearance on the gear stick. In terms of features, Hyundai Creta N Line Night Edition continues to be offered with an infotainment system with connected car tech, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and a digital instrument cluster. The ADAS package on the Creta includes lane keep assist, emergency autonomous braking, fatigue detection, and adaptive high beam. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Program, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and more.

The Brazilian model of the Creta is powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that can produce a maximum power output of 118hp. A 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine powertrain is also on offer.

Conclusion

The Hyundai Creta N Line Night Edition has been launched at R$ 181,490 in Brazil, which is around Rs 28.83 lakh. Hyundai is only producing 900 units of the Creta Night Edition, so it is unlikely the special edition SUV will be launched in India. The ‘Knight Edition’ of the Creta which is currently on sale in India comes with a different grille design and red and black looks instead of an all-black theme.
