Oben Rorr Evo: What’s on offer?

The Rorr Evo has a bold look and a commanding stance. Its front fascia features an LED lighting setup, which includes a projector headlamp and a DRL. The streetfigher design is accentuated by its muscular proportions and sculpted body panels. There are 4 colour options on offer – Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White.

Oben Electric claims that the Rorr Evo has the longest seat in the segment at 680mm. It has a height of 780mm. The motorbike clears the ground at 200mm and has a 230mm water wading capability. With the component sizing reduced by 40%, the motorbike has a kerb weight of 140kg.

The Rorr Evo is powered by Oben’s in-house electric motor. This motor is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance. It generates a maximum power output of 9kW and 250Nm torque. The motorbike can go from 0-40km/h in 3 seconds with its top speed capped at 110km/h. The 3.4kWh LFP battery pack is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, and comes with an 8-year warranty. It can go up to 180km (IDC) on a full charge. Using the Oben Plug fast charger, it can be charged from 0-80% in 90 minutes.

In terms of features, the Rorr Evo gets a 5-inch TFT display with navigation and ride data functions, along with smart alerts for calls, texts, and music. Riders can connect their smartphone to this display via Bluetooth. There are 4 riding modes on offer – Eco, Road, Havoc, and Smart IQ. The latter analyses riding patterns in real time and optimises power delivery to extend range by up to 15%.

The Oben Electric app unlocks features like ride history, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, theft protection, ‘Find My Rorr’, and 24×7 service support, along with giving access to a 68,000+ charging network. Safety features include Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), Driver Alert System (DAS), and more.

Madhumita Agrawal, Founder & CEO, Oben Electric, said, “Electric motorcycling in India is entering a new phase, where riders are no longer evaluating electric vehicles as alternatives, but as motorcycles in their own right. Rorr EVO is built on that belief. It is a no-compromise product designed to prove that electric can match and exceed the full spectrum of real-world riding, not selectively, but completely. Rorr EVO is built to make that shift tangible on the road.”
