New Hyundai Creta Knight Edition Revealed In Its Official TVC

The new Knight Edition of the Hyundai Creta comes with a series of upgrades on its design and equipment front.

Hyundai India finally released today the official trailer of its Creta Knight Edition SUV. The all-new Hyundai Creta Knight Edition revealed its first look to the country recently when it arrived at dealer showrooms last month. The brand has now showcased the compact SUV officially with the launch of its official TVC online. 

Creta is one of the bestsellers of the Hyundai brand in India, with a reported market share of about one-third in the compact SUV segment. The company introduced its Knight Edition as well as an iMT transmission option with its 1.5L petrol motor in April this year. It is also expected to get another comprehensive mid-cycle facelift later this year.

The Creta Knight Edition exteriors give an overall sporty look to the vehicle. It comes in an all-black theme with glossy black finishings, which is visible through its front grille, front skid plate, rear bumper, roof rails, pillars and shark fin antenna. The vehicle also features trio beam LED headlamps with crescent glow LED DRLs and rides upon R16 alloy wheels. The brake callipers receive a contrasting red colour while the boot lid sports a ‘Knight’ badge.

Speaking of the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition interiors, the black theme is continued but with contrasting red accents. Additionally, the cabin features twin LED roof lights at the front, LED reading lights for the rear row, mobile charging points and rear AC vents. What comes as one of the most important updates in the car is the panoramic sunroof, which now comes as standard across all variants. On the front of safety, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) will come as standard. Apart from that, the car comes equipped with electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM), lane change indicator, rear parking sensors and a camera amongst others. 

The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition is offered in 4 variants, S+ petrol, SX(O) petrol, S+ diesel and SX(O) diesel. It is powered by a 1.5L petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine. The Creta Knight Edition price in India starts from Rs 13.35 lakhs (ex-showroom).
