Honda Elevate: Everything you need to know

Honda Elevate stands at dimensions of 4,312mm x 1,790mm x 1,650mm with a wheelbase of 2,650mm. It clears the ground at 220mm, which is the highest for this segment. The boot space on offer is 458 litres. These figures make the Elevate very similar to Hyundai Creta in terms of size and wheelbase.

The front fascia of Honda Elevate is marked by a wide radiator grille and a muscular flat nose. Occupying either side of the grille are LED headlamps and integrated LED DRLs. The DRLs and headlamps are connected by a chrome bar. Along the sides, the SUV gets thick black cladding and prominent character lines. The Elevate gets flared wheel arches and rests on 17-inch alloys. The design of the LED tail lamps is similar to the ones on the WR-V sold in international markets. The rear lamps are connected by a light bar.

Inside, Honda Elevate gets a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster. Instead of a panoramic sunroof, the Elevate gets a single-pane sunroof. Other features include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, connected car tech (Honda Connect), wireless charging, and a rear parking sensor and camera. The SUV also gets the Honda Sensing ADAS package that includes safety features like lane departure warning, road departure warning, lane keep assist, collision mitigation braking, and more.

Under the hood, Honda Elevate gets the 5th-gen Honda City’s powertrain. This 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine can produce a maximum power output of 121hp and 145Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. Honda is not offering a hybrid configuration with this engine. Instead, the automaker will put out an all-electric Elevate next year.
