Mercedes-AMG, the performance subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz, has finally revealed its 2023 AMG C43 sedan. The all-new 2023 Mercedes AMG C43 comes with several cosmetic and equipment upgrades along with a mild-hybrid powertrain. Recently, the brand introduced two special ‘Edition 55’ models for its AMG A35 and CLA35 lineup. The German automaker also had given a makeover to its AMG G63 and AMG GT the previous month. And now, to take the brand further to new heights globally, curtains have been uplifted from the 2023 iteration of its AMG C43 coupe.

The looks of the 2023 AMG C43 coupe appear not that different from the standard C300. It features a sloping roofline, a large Panamericana AMG grille with vertical slats, a sculpted bonnet, swept-back headlights, a wide air-dam and blacked-out trim pieces. On its sides, it is flanked by B-pillars and ORVMS that are mounted with indicators. On its rear, the 2023 Mercedes AMG C43 features a bumper sporting a “diffuser” look, wraparound tail lamps and circular quad-exhaust tips.
Speaking of its interiors, the all-new 2023 AMG C43 coupe offers a luxurious and comfortable cabin. It features a flat-bottom steering wheel wrapped around in Nappa leather, a large centre console, aluminium shift paddles and circular AC vents. The seats come in the brand’s MB-Tex faux leather and red stitching while the seat belts flaunt a matching red colour. It comes equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with multiple safety features.

Coming to its powertrain options, the 2023 Mercedes AMG C43 is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged engine coupled with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The setup delivers a combined output of 402hp and 500 Nm of peak torque. The vehicle is offered in an all-wheel-drive layout and a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 265kmph.
The 2023 AMG C43 price is expected to start from USD 60,000 (Rs 46 lakhs approx). The sedan will be launched in the US later this year.
