After the launch of the X4 facelift Black Shadow Edition SUV coupe last month, BMW India introduces another model from its X4 portfolio, the 2022 BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition, to the Indian markets. The all-new Silver Shadow Edition sports a range of exterior and interior cosmetic upgrades and costs Rs 1.4 lakh higher than its Black Shadow counterpart.

The 2022 BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition comes in 3 colours, namely Carbon Black, Phytonic Blue and Alpine White. It features a high-gloss chrome finished kidney grille surround and mesh, bumper inlays and exhaust pipes. The design elements that are carried forward as it is from its current version include slim LED headlights, wraparound LED taillights and 20-inch M design double-spoke style diamond-cut alloy wheels. Its Aluminium Rhombicle dark interior trim finishers along with Pearl Chrome highlight finisher give it an overall premium look.
Speaking of the X4 Silver Shadow Edition interiors, it features a dual-tone ‘Vernasca’ mocha and black leather upholstery. Moreover, it comes with a 12.3-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with BMW’s gesture control, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, an HUD, three-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, hands-free parking, adaptive suspension, cruise control and much more.

The 2022 BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition gets no mechanical uplifts. It is offered with a 2.0L four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine (xDrive 30i) and a 3.0L six-cylinder diesel engine (xDrive 30d). The petrol engine delivers an output of about 252hp and 350Nm of peak torque whereas the diesel engine delivers 265hp and 620Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are offered with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and get BMW’s xDrive AWD layout as standard.
