Yamaha R15M, MT15 V2, and Ray ZR 125 MotoGP editions launched in India

As a part of its ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign, Yamaha has launched three new 2023 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition models in India. These models are the Yamaha R15M, MT15 V2, and the Ray ZR 125 FI Hybrid scooter. These models will be available at all the premium Blue Square outlets from September 18. The AEROX 155 scooter will also receive a special edition soon.

Yamaha R15M, MT15 V2, and Ray ZR 125 get Monster Energy MotoGP Editions

The Yamaha R15M is priced at Rs 1,97,200. The MT15 V2 and Ray ZR 125 fetch Rs Rs 1,72,700 and Rs 92,330 respectively. The two motorbikes get Monster Energy branding on the tank shroud and side panels. The Ray ZR 125 FI hybrid scooter gets Monster Energy branding across the body. All three two-wheelers also sport MotoGP graphics. There are no mechanical changes on any of the three vehicles.

Yamaha R15M and MT15 V2 share the same 155cc single-cylinder 4V liquid-cooled engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 18hp and 14.2Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Ray ZR 125 FI hybrid scooter is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine. This unit produces a maximum power output of 8hp and 10.3Nm of torque.

The introduction of 2023 MotoGP Edition livery strengthens our commitment towards Indian customers of offering an exciting, stylish, and sporty model range that represents Yamaha’s rich racing legacy. This exclusive line-up showcases Yamaha’s continuous efforts to meet the aspirations of our young customers including those who are passionate MotoGP fans.”

Conclusion

Yamaha has also announced that the AEROX 155 maxi-sports scooter will also receive a MotoGP Edition soon. These special edition models will be made available in limited numbers only. The cosmetic changes amp up the sportiness of the bikes but they do not get any changes to the engine.
