More powerful Hero Xtreme 200R 4V Spied Alongside Xpulse 200 4V

The company recently brought a new Hero Xtreme 160R and launched it with an updated engine following the BS6 norms. The same follows a muscular design, bold looks and is one of the best options under Rs 1 lakh. The new and more powerful Xtreme 200R 4V Spied Alongside Xpulse 200 4V. The Xpulse 200 was spied recently on roads in disguised camouflage paint. But in the pictures, we can see what the company has to offer.

Both motorcycles were recently shown to the brand’s dealers and we can expect them to be launched soon in the market. The design language of the 200R 4V will be similar to its younger 160cc sibling featuring LED lights, a digital instrument display, a single-piece seat and a fairly large fuel tank. It should come with Bluetooth connectivity as well.

By introducing the Xtreme 200R 4V, Hero will re-enter the 200cc naked motorcycle segment again with the BS6 model. The Xpulse 200 4V was spotted next to Xtreme 200 4V with a sporty and appealing white and blue paint scheme. The instrumental cluster to be available by the company in the Xpulse is unknown, but we can expect a smart one with Bluetooth connectivity along with turn by turn navigation to make it adventure-ready.

The BS6-compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor on the Xtreme 200S currently makes 17.83bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.45Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The four-valve setup should make a bit more power of 20-21bhp. Both the Xpulse and Xtreme will share the same engine.

It is likely that both models will be introduced to Indian consumers very soon, with the Xpulse 200T 4V and Xtreme 200S 4V to join the segment after them. Unlike the Xpulse, the Xtreme 200R 4V will have rivals like the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V to compete against.
