Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition launched in India at Rs 81.57 lakh

Audi India has launched the new Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition in India ahead of the festive season. The luxury coupe is priced at Rs 81.57 lakh. It gets some key feature upgrades and cosmetic tweaks while retaining the same engine as the regular model under the hood. Since it is a special edition, only a few units are up for grabs.

Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition: What’s on offer?

The new Audi S5 Sportback Platinum edition is available in two colour options – District Green and Mythos Black. It gets a new black styling package along with Matrix LED headlamps with laser lights, carbon inlays, and red brake callipers with ‘S’ lettering. The black styling package will add black accents to the grille, air intakes, and window trim.

Inside, the Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition get sports seats with lumbar support and a massage function. It also gets Nappa leather upholstery in a Magma red colour. The door entrance lights project an illuminated ‘S’ logo on the ground every time the door is opened. The carbon fibre inlays across the interior also amp up the luxury aspect of the vehicle. The instrumentation remains unchanged as the S5 Sportback sticks to the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display.

Things also remain the same under the hood, as the Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition continues to be powered by the 3.0-litre V6 turbo petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 354hp and 500Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

With limited units on offer, the Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition will be available in two beautiful shades of District Green and Mythos Black with Magma red sporty seats – a perfect addition of color and performance for the festive season. This is our third special edition this festive season and we are confident that these limited editions will be sold out in no time.”

Conclusion

The Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition is priced at Rs 81.57 lakh in India. This makes it Rs 5.83 lakh more expensive than the regular model. The luxury coupe rivals the BMW M340i. The S5 Sportback is the third Audi offering to receive a special edition this festive season after the Q8 and Q5.
