Toyota Kirloskar Motor recently reopened the bookings for Toyota Hilux and slashed the prices of its base variant by Rs 3.59 lakh. Now, the automaker has announced an assured buyback scheme for the pickup truck. This offer is in line with Toyota’s Customer First philosophy, the automaker stated.

Through Toyota Financial Services, buyers can opt for a low EMI option starting from Rs 32,886 or choose an assured 70% buyback after 3 years from the date of purchase of the Toyota Hilux. Prices for Toyota Hilux currently start at Rs 30.40 lakh for the Standard variant and go up to Rs 37.90 lakh for the High AT variant. Toyota recently slashed the prices of the Standard variant by Rs 3.59 but hiked the cost of the High MT and High AT variants by Rs 1.35 lakh and Rs 1.10 lakh respectively.

Under the hood, the Toyota Hilux is powered by a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces a maximum power output of 204hp and 420Nm peak torque, just like the Toyota Fortuner. It comes with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

As mentioned earlier, Toyota is currently accepting the second batch of bookings for the Hilux. The pickup truck is being offered with a warranty of 3 years/1,00,000km. Currently, the Toyota Hilux rivals Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in India.
