Renault Duster Hybrid: Prices, specs, and more
Here is the price list for the Duster Hybrid.
| Trim | Price |
| Evolution | Rs 16.99 lakh |
| Techno | Rs 18.99 lakh |
| Emotion | Rs 18.49 lakh |
Powering the Duster Hybrid is Renault’s ‘E-Tech 160’ system, which comprises a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and 2 electric motors. The petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 110hp and 175Nm of torque by itself. The traction motor puts out an additional 50hp and 205Nm. The combined power output comes out to 160hp. The starter-generator is responsible for starting the engine, making the gear transitions smoother, and charging the battery via regenerative braking.
The strong hybrid system is linked to a 1.4kWh battery pack. The ‘multi-mode’ automatic transmission has 2 electric and 4 petrol gears. The SUV can carry out 80% of city driving in electric-only mode. The mode-switching happens automatically. The hybrid model can go from 0-100km/l in 9.61 seconds. It offers a mileage of 29km/l (ARAI). With the 50-litre fuel tank filled to capacity, the Duster Hybrid offers a driving range of over 1,400km.
When it comes to design and cosmetics, the Duster Hybrid is identical to the standard model. The only distinguishing element is the E-Tech badging on the former. The SUV stands at dimensions of 4,346mm x 1,815mm x 1,694mm and has a 2,657mm wheelbase. The Techno and Evolutions of the hybrid model are available in a dual-tone paint scheme.
The interior of the strong-hybrid model does not get any changes either. Its centre console features an e-shifter. The dashboard has a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. There is support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on board. Other features include a dual-zone climate control system, a 6-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, keyless entry, push-button start, cruise control, and more.
