Ola S1 Air will be available for purchase from July 28

Ola Electric announced that it will open the purchase window for its affordable electric scooter, Ola S1 Air, on July 28. Ola S1 Air: Here’s what you need to know about the electric scooter

Ola S1 Air is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh. Existing Ola customers and buyers who have booked their model of the S1 can purchase the scooter at the price of Rs 1.10 lakh. The purchase window for these buyers will open on July 28 and end on July 30. For regular buyers, the purchase window will open on July 31.

Ola S1 Air is available in a single 3kWh battery variant. It retains the design of the S1 lineup but gets minor cosmetic changes. The grab handle on the seat has been replaced by a single-piece tubular unit and the curved floorboard has been replaced by a flat unit. The storage space has also been reduced to 34 litres from 36 litres. The 3kWh battery pack offers a driving range of 125km.

Suspension duties on the S1 Air will be handled by a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. The electric scooter gets standard drum brakes on both wheels. The S1 Air weighs 99kg, which is considerably lighter than the 125kg S1 Pro.
