Hero MotorCorp has launched the new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V in India at Rs 1.41 lakh. The updated Xtreme 200S 4V gets new changes across the board and costs just Rs 5,000 more than the Xtreme 200S 2V. Hero Xtreme 200S 4V: Everything you need to know
Powering the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is a 199.6cc single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled unit that produces a maximum power output of 19.1hp at 8,000rpm and 17.25Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This is 6% more power and 5% more torque than the previous version. Hero Xtreme 200S 2V puts out 18hp and 16.5Nm.
Talking about features, the new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V gets an LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, smartphone connectivity, and other connectivity features. Hero has also changed the handlebar design, offering split clip-on handlebars on the new Xtreme 200S 4V. The motorbike also gets twin LED headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED tail lamps.
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a 7-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear. In comparison, the Xtreme 160R 4V uses USD front forks. The Xtreme 200S 4V also gets single-channel ABS. The motorbike is available in three new colour options – Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Matt Axis Gray Metallic.
