Hyundai Kona, Aura, Grand i10 Nios, and i20 receive discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh

As the festive season rolls on, automakers are offering lucrative deals on their major offerings. Hyundai Kona, Aura, Grand i10 Nios, and i20 are the latest cars to receive a series of Diwali discounts. The discounts come in the form of cash benefits, exchange bonuses, and corporate benefits. Hyundai has not offered any discounts on Verna, Venue, Creta, Alcazar, and Tucson yet.

Hyundai Kona Electric

Discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh

The Hyundai Kona Electric is the first electric vehicle from the automaker in India and rivals the likes of MG ZS EV and BYD Atto 3. The electric SUV is powered by a 39kWh battery pack and offers a range of 452 km. The SUV can generate a maximum power of 136hp and 395Nm peak torque. 

Hyundai is offering an upfront cash discount of up to Rs 1 lakh on the Hyundai Kona Electric. It does not receive any exchange bonus or corporate discount.  

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

Discounts of up to Rs 48,000

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes in three engine options. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces 100hp and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine produces 83hp and comes mated to a 5-speed manual with an option of automatic transmission as well. Finally, the CNG variant produces 69hp and comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Grand i10 Nios (1.0-litre) gets a total discount of up to Rs 48,000. This includes a cash discount of Rs 35,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000, and corporate benefits worth Rs 3,000. The CNG and 1.2-litre variants get a cash discount of up to Rs 20,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. 

Hyundai Aura

Discounts of up to Rs 33,000

Hyundai Aura shares its powertrain with the Grand i10 Nios. The compact sedan gets a total discount of up to Rs 33,000. This includes a cash discount worth Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. Hyundai Aura rivals the likes of Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.

Hyundai i20

Discounts of up to Rs 20,000.

Lastly, the Hyundai i20 receives discounts of up to Rs 20,000. The i20 is available in three powertrain options, an 83hp 1.2-litre petrol engine, a 120hp 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 100hp 1.5-litre diesel engine. Hyundai is offering a discount only on the Magna and Sportz variants of the i20. The discounts will come in the form of cash benefits and exchange bonuses worth Rs 10,000 each. The i20 rivals Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz, and Toyota Glanza.

Conclusion

These discounts will be made available throughout the month of October. The amount of discount offered may vary upon the variant of the car and region of the dealership. Discounts are also subject to the availability of stock.
