Honda ZR-V has entered the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 48 lakh. This introductory price is valid for a limited period of time. The price of the SUV will be hiked when the offer period ends. The ZR-V occupies the top spot in Honda Car India’s portfolio, becoming the automaker’s flagship offering in the country. It is a CBU (Completely Built-up Unit) import into India and is available in a single, top-spec variant.

Honda ZR-V: Everything you need to know
The ZR-V stands at dimensions of 4,567mm x 1,840mm x 1,621mm, and has a 2,655mm wheelbase. Its front fascia features sleek LED headlamps with integrated L-shaped DRLs. The grille has vertical slats. It is flanked on either side by air vents. The Honda logo is positioned just above the grille. The front bumper houses an air dam with a mesh covering.
The ZR-V’s profile reveals a curved design language. It rests on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The wheel arches have body-coloured cladding. At the back, the SUV gets wavy tail lamps, a noise-free tailgate, a roof-mounted spoiler, and dual exhaust tips. The hybrid model carries the e:HEV branding. There are 4 paint schemes on offer – Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Crystal Black Pearl.
Inside, the Honda ZR-V flaunts an all-black colour theme and leather upholstery. The dashboard rocks a 9-inch, free-floating touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. There’s wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity on board. The dashboard also has a premium honeycomb grille running across it. There are a lot of physical controls for the HVAC system, drive modes, and other functions.
Other features of the SUV include a 12-speaker Bose sound system, multiple storage trays, a dual-zone climate control system, an 8-way powered driver’s seat with memory functions, a 4-way powered passenger’s seat, a hands-free tailgate with gesture control, ambient lighting, and wireless charging. Safety features include 8 airbags, a 360-degree camera, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Descent Control, front and rear parking sensors, Electronic Parking Brake, an idle stop system with auto start, and more. The Honda Sensing ADAS suite comprises functions like Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System and Road Departure Mitigation System.
Powering the Honda ZR-V is a strong-hybrid powertrain with a 2-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol engine linked to 2 permanent magnet synchronous electric motors. This system generates a maximum power output of 184hp and 315Nm of torque. It is mated to an e-CVT gearbox. The SUV can go from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds, with its top speed capped at 170km/h. It offers a fuel efficiency of 22.8km/l.

Final Thoughts
As mentioned earlier, Honda will increase the prices of the ZR-V once the introductory offer ends. The automaker has commenced the delivery rollout of the SUV. The ZR-V rivals the Toyota Fortuner Legender, Volkswagen Tayron, Skoda Kodiaq, and Jeep Meridian in India.
