2026 Citroen eC3X: What’s new?
The revised front fascia of the Citroen eC3X features a full LED setup comprising projector LED headlamps and V-shaped LED DRLs. Compared to the previous model, the headlamps have a sleeker and sharper design. The EV looks identical to its ICE counterpart. The front bumper rocks a faux skid plate. Along the sides, it rests on 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The wheel arches have received thick body cladding. The hatchback rocks electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs). At the back, the bumper and LED taillamps have been refreshed.
Inside, the Citroen eC3X rocks a new dual-tone blue-and-beige colour theme. The seat upholstery has been upgraded from fabric to leather. The dashboard layout remains unchanged, but it has been equipped with a new 7-inch TFT digital driver’s display. The free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system has been retained from the outgoing model. There’s wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity on board. Other features include auto-dimming IRVM, a 6-speaker JBL audio system, a dashcam, wireless charging, and more. The hatchback gets 4 airbags as standard, with the option of 6 airbags only available in the top variants.
No changes have been made under the hood, as the 2026 Citroen eC3X continues to be powered by a front-mounted single electric motor. This motor generates a maximum power output of 57hp and 143Nm of torque. The electric hatchback can go from 0-60km/h in 6.8 seconds. Its top speed has been capped at 107km/h.
Citroen has also carried forward the 29.2kWh battery pack of the outgoing eC3 on the new model. However, on the eC3X, it offers an improved driving range of 325km. This is 79km more than the previous model. A home AC charger takes 10 hours and 30 minutes to charge the battery from 10-100%. A DC fast charger takes 57 minutes to charge it from 10-80%.
