Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 1.05 lakh on the Tigor and Tiago EVs this month. These discounts come in the form of cash offers, exchange benefits, and green bonuses. The Tiago EV gets discounts on the unsold MY2023 stock and the new MY2024 units. These discounts will expire at the end of the month. The Tiago and Tigor EVs are two of the most affordable all-electric cars in India right now.

Tata Tigor EV
Maximum Discount: Rs 1.05 lakh
Tata Tigor EV gets the maximum discount out of the two EVs, with the total package amount coming out to Rs 1.05 lakh. This includes a cash discount of Rs 75,000 and exchange benefits worth up to Rs 30,000. Prices for Tata Tigor EV start at Rs 12.49 lakh and go up to Rs 13.75 lakh.
Tata Tigor EV boasts a driving range of 315km. It is equipped with an IP67-rated, 26 kWh battery pack. This battery pack can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 60 minutes with a fast charger. The electric motor on the EV produces a peak power output of 75hp (55kW) and 170Nm of torque. The EV can go from 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds.
Tata Tiago EV
Maximum Discount: Rs 80,000
MY2023 units of the Tiago EV get a maximum discount package of Rs 80,000. This includes exchange benefits worth up to Rs 15,000 and a green bonus worth Rs 65,000. The MY2024 units of the electric hatchback get exchange benefits of up to Rs 15,000 and a green bonus of Rs 20,000, bringing the total discount package up to Rs 35,000.
The Tiago EV is available in two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh. The former has a driving range of 250km, while the latter can power the EV up to 315km. The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor on the Tiago EV delivers a peak power output of 55kW and an instant torque of 114Nm. The electric hatchback can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 5.7 seconds. There are also two driving modes on offer – City mode and Sport mode – with four levels of regen settings in each mode.

Conclusion
As mentioned earlier, these discounts will expire on January 31. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock. Tata currently has the most diverse and affordable electric vehicle portfolio out of all the automakers in the country. It will be adding the Punch EV to its catalogue on January 17.
