Even though the Innova Crysta remains one of the most popular MPVs in the Indian market, Toyota will discontinue it next year. This is due to the upcoming Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) 3 emission norms that are slated to come into effect at the end of March 2027. While Toyota has not made any official announcement regarding the Innova Crysta’s future, the stringent emission norms will likely sound the death knell for the MPV. As things stand, it rivals the Tata Safari, Kia Carnival, and Mahindra XUV700 in India.
