While the biggest change on Innova Crysta is the reintroduction of the diesel powertrain, that is not where all the updates end. The new Toyota Innova Crysta gets a few tweaks on the front end. It now comes with a smaller grille and a new bumper design. The housing for fog lamps has been changed as well. The MPV remains unchanged along the sides and at the rear.
The Innova Crysta is available in 7 and 8-seat configurations. In terms of features, the MPV gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, a powered driver seat, picnic tables for the middle row, climate control, and more. In terms of safety features, Toyota Innova Crysta gets seven airbags, front and rear parking sensors, Vehicle Stability Control, ABS with EBD, Hill-Start Assist, Brake Assist, and more. Three-point seatbelts for all passengers come as standard across all variants.
Under the hood, the 2.4-litre diesel engine produces the maximum power output of 148hp and 343Nm peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There is no option for an automatic transmission on the Crysta.
