The Tesla Model Y that has arrived in India is the latest facelifted model that was unveiled in January 2025. Known for its minimal design, the midsize electric SUV flaunts a clean front fascia, with a thin LED light bar running across its face. The LED headlamps are housed in the bumper and surrounded by air vents. Along the slides, the Model Y flaunts door handles that sit flush on the outer panel, 19-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels, and a sloping roofline. At the back, the LED tail lamps mimic the design of the DRLs up front, spanning the width of the SUV. The bumper receives a dual-tone finish.
The minimal design extends to the interior of the SUV as well. The Tesla Model Y boasts a large 15.4-inch front central touchscreen and an 8-inch rear touchscreen. The driver and passenger seats are powered, heated, and ventilated. Other features include ambient lighting, 8 exterior cameras, a panoramic glass roof, heated steering and windshield, connected car tech, powered rear AC vents, and more. Tesla’s signature autonomous driving feature, Autopilot, demands a premium of Rs 6 lakh.
The Tesla Model Y is available in 6 paint shades. The Stealth Grey paint shade is the standard option that does not demand a premium. Buyers can opt for Pearl White Multicoat or Diamond Black shade for an additional Rs 95,000. The Glacier Blue colour option demands an extra Rs 1.25 lakh. The Quicksilver and Ultra Red shades cost an additional Rs 1.85 lakh. The all-black interior can be switched to a black-and-white theme for an extra Rs 95,000.
