Tata Safari and Harrier have received the Safer Choice award from Global NCAP. This accolade is given to automakers committed to the highest levels of safety performance. The Safari and Harrier were crash-tested by the GNCAP in October 2023 and received a 5-star rating. The two SUVs are decked with impressive standard safety features.

Tata Safari & Harrier: Safest SUVs around
To qualify for the Safer Choice Award, a car needs to meet the following requirements.
- Five star Global NCAP rating for adult occupant protection.
- Five star Global NCAP rating for child occupant protection.
- Provide a speed assistance system and achieve a full score in Global NCAP’s test criteria.
- Provide AEB (car to car and vulnerable road user) and meet UN regulatory performance requirements.
- Provide BSD as a stand-alone option and meet Global NCAP’s performance requirements.
Tata submitted the Safari and Harrier SUVs for further Safer Choice conformity tests soon after receiving the 5-star rating from GNCAP.
