Tata Motors has added Dark Edition models for the ICE and all-electric variants of the Curvv crossover. Prices for the Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition start at Rs 22.24 lakh in India. It is based on the top-spec Empowered+ A variant of the electric crossover and demands a premium of Rs 25,000. Meanwhile, the ICE Curvv’s Dark Edition range starts at Rs 16.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.52 lakh.

Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition: Everything you need to know
The Dark Edition model of the Tata Curvv EV gets an all-black exterior theme. Elements like the front bumper, alloy wheels, and the OVRMs have been completely blacked out. The EV gets an exclusive Carbon Black paint shade. It also features exclusive ‘Dark’ badging on the fenders. The colour of the ‘EV’ badges on the front doors have not been changed as they remain blue.
The interior of the Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition has also been blacked out. The regular model of the electric crossover features a light grey and ivory interior theme. Meanwhile, the Dark Edition model gets an all-black dashboard, centre console, leatherette seats, and roof liner. The seats have the ‘Dark’ branding embroidered on them. The Dark model also gets a new sunshade.
Since it is based on the top-spec Empowered+ A trim, the Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition gets features like a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, adjustable front seats, a cooled glove box, front and rear charging ports, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-speaker system from JBL, and more. There is also a Level 2 ADAS package on board.
Things remain unchanged mechanically, as the Dark Edition model of the Tata Curvv EV is powered by a front-mounted electric motor. This motor generates a maximum power output of 167hp and 215Nm of torque. The 55kWh battery offers a driving range of up to 502km on a full charge. The EV can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 8.6 seconds. Its top speed is capped at 160km/h in Sport Mode. Using a 70kW wall charger, the EV can be powered from 10-80% in 40 minutes. A 7.2kW home charger takes almost 8 hours to charge the battery pack fully.
