Exclusive Plus | Rs 23.98 lakh |
Essence | Rs 24.98 lakh |
While MG Motor has not revealed the full list of features for the ZS EV Excite Pro, it has mentioned that the variant will receive a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. This makes MG ZS EV the only electric offering under Rs 20 lakh to come with this feature. Last year, the automaker introduced a Level 2 ADAS package on the top-spec variant of the EV.
It remains to be seen whether it will also be included in the mid-spec Excite Pro variant. If the Level 2 package does not make its way to the Excite Pro, it may get basic ADAS features like blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot detection system. The sensitivity level of these systems can be altered between low, medium, and high.
Other features on the MG ZS EV include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch driver’s display, and wireless charging. In terms of safety features, the electric SUV is equipped with six airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, and more. The EV also gets 75+ connected car features.
Things remain the same under the hood for all four variants of the MG ZS EV. Powering the electric SUV is a front-mounted electric motor that produces a maximum power output of 176hp and 280Nm. The 50.3kWh battery pack offers a driving range of 461km. The EV can go from 0-100kmph in 8.5 seconds.

Conclusion
The relatively affordable Excite Pro variant will help in boosting the sales of the ZS EV. Currently, it rivals the top-spec trims of Mahindra XUV400 and Tata Nexon EV as well as the likes of BYD Atto 3 and Hyundai Kona EV. MG Motor has also introduced two new fast-charging variants for the Comet EV. These variants come with a 7.4 kW fast charger and are priced at Rs 8.24 lakh and Rs 9.14 lakh respectively.
