MG ZS EV gets a new ‘Exclusive Pro’ trim with an ADAS package

MG Motors India has added a new ‘Exclusive Pro’ trim to the MG ZS EV lineup. The new ‘Pro’ trim will get the automaker’s ADAS package and will cost Rs 59,000 more than the regular Exclusive trim. There are no mechanical changes on the Exclusive Pro trim.

MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro: New features explained

The biggest change on the new Exclusive Pro trim of the MG ZS EV is the inclusion of the ADAS package. This brings features like adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, speed assist system, and forward collision warning. Other variants of the MG ZS EV get basic ADAS features like blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot detection system. The sensitivity level of these systems can be altered between low, medium, and high.

The Exclusive Pro trim will continue to offer standard features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch driver’s display, and wireless charging. Other safety features include six airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, and more. The EV also gets 75+ connected car features.

There are no mechanical changes on the MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro. It is powered by a front-mounted electric motor that produces a maximum power output of 176hp and 280Nm. The 50.3kWh battery pack offers a driving range of 461km. The EV can go from 0-100kmph in 8.5 seconds.

Conclusion

After the addition of the Exclusive Pro variant, the MG ZS EV now starts at Rs 23.38 lakh and goes up to Rs 27.90 lakh. MG’s all-electric SUV rivals the likes of BYD Atto 3 and Hyundai Kona EV in India.
