MG Cyberster: Everything that you need to know
MG Cyberster takes design inspiration from the 1960s MG B Roadsters. The low-slung roadster has an aerodynamic profile and a long bonnet. Its front fascia is highlighted by swanky LED headlamps, a closed-off grille, and split air intake vents. The K-tail silhouette becomes visible when you look at the roadster’s profile. It flaunts scissor doors and a retractable roof. At the back, an LED strip runs across the width of the car. The LED tail lamps are shaped like arrows.
Inside, the MG Cyberster gets a 3-screen wraparound cockpit. This system comprises a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display with 2 7-inch screens on either side. A vertically aligned 7-inch touchscreen display connects the dashboard to the centre console. The infotainment system on this EV supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include an 8-speaker Bose audio system, power-adjustable heated seats with a memory function, an electric folding roof, a Level 2 ADAS package, and more.
Powering the MG Cyberster is a dual electric motor setup. These oil-cooled motors are mounted on the front and rear axles. They produce a combined power output of 510hp and 725Nm of torque. The electric roadster can go from 0-100kmph in just 3.2 seconds. Its top speed has been capped at 201kmph. The 77kWh battery pack offers a driving range of 444km on a full charge. In foreign markets, the Cyberster is also available with a 335hp-producing single-electric motor powertrain.

Final Thoughts
MG is offering the Cyberster in four dual-tone colour options: Flare Red with Black roof, Andes Grey with Red roof, Nuclear Yellow with Black roof, and Modern Beige with Red roof. In India, the electric roadster does not have any real rivals but competes against the likes of Tesla Model Y, BMW Z4 Roadster, Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet, and Volvo EC40.
