The Urban Cruiser EV is a rebadged version of the e Vitara and is a result of Toyota and Maruti’s global partnership. While the two electric SUVs share the same engine, platform, and battery packs, they look nothing alike. The grand reveal of the Urban Cruiser EV at the Bharat Global Mobility Expo confirmed its cosmetic similarities with its ICE sibling. The electric SUV will go on sale later in the year and it will be interesting to see how its sales compare to its Maruti counterpart.

Tata Harrier EV

Tata Harrier EV

Tata has showcased the Harrier EV on multiple occasions at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. However, the model on display this year was the production-spec version. The electric SUV’s showcase also came with the announcement that it will go on sale in March. The Harrier EV looks similar to its ICE sibling but gets some EV-exclusive cosmetic tweaks. Its platform has been modified to accommodate the EV architecture. Tata has kept a tight lid on the Harrier EV’s power and range specs so far, but more details are awaited in the weeks leading up to its launch. We expected the electric SUV to cost around Rs 30 lakh.
