Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Dominion Edition launched in India

To kick off the festive season in India, Maruti Suzuki has added a ‘Dominion Edition’ to the Grand Vitara’s lineup. The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Dominion Edition is available with the Alpha, Zeta, and Delta trims of the SUV. The special edition gets a complimentary accessory pack. The automaker is also offering significant discounts on its premium Nexa offerings.

Here’s what you get in the complimentary accessory pack offered in the Dominion Edition of the Grand Vitara:

  • Front skid garnish
  • OVRM garnish (Black)
  • Head lamp garnish (Black)

  • Tail lamp garnish (Smoked chrome)

  • Interior styling kit – Luxe Dawn Wood
  • Nexa cushion (Black)
  • Door sill guard on plastic scuff

The Side step, brown seat cover, and dual-tone seat cover are exclusively available with Alpha, Zeta, and Delta variants respectively.

 

The Dominion Edition of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is only available with the mild hybrid variants. The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 103hp and 137Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a manual or automatic gearbox. In a CNG configuration, this engine produces a power output of 88hp.

Commenting on the introduction of the Grand Vitara Dominion Limited Edition, Mr Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The Grand Vitara has redefined the mid SUV segment, and the Dominion Edition builds on this success by offering options that cater to the evolving preferences of our customers. It features distinct styling with added comfort and a more premium interior, meeting the growing customer inclination towards stand-out appearance and superior in-cabin experience.”

Conclusion

Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara start at Rs 10.87 lakh and go up to Rs 20.62 lakh. The accessory packs for the Alpha, Zeta, and Delta variants are priced at Rs 52,699, Rs 49,999, and Rs 48,599 respectively. However, these packs are available for free on the Dominion Edition. The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara rivals Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder in India.
