Tata Punch Camo Edition launched in India at Rs 8.45 lakh

Tata will launch the facelifted version of the SUV in the coming months.

Tata Motors has launched the Camo Edition for the Punch SUV in India. Prices for the Tata Punch Camo Edition start at Rs 8.45 lakh and go up to Rs 10.15 lakh. The special edition SUV is available in Accomplished Plus and Creative Plus trims. Buyers can also opt for a CNG powertrain with the Camo Edition. Tata will produce the special edition in limited numbers.

Like other Camo Editions in the Tata fleet, the Punch Camo gets a Seaweed Green colour theme. This colour is paired with white paint for the roof. The previous Punch Camo Edition was available with a Foliage Green exterior colour theme. The ‘Camo’ badging can be found on the front fenders of the SUV. Along the sides, the SUV gets 16-inch charcoal grey alloy wheels. There are no other changes to the cosmetics of the SUV.

Tata Punch Camo Edition: What’s new?

Inside, the Tata Punch Camo Edition sports an all-black theme. The ‘Camo’ branding and pattern can be found on the upholstery, door pads, and interior door handles. In terms of instrumentation and features, the SUV rocks a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, rear AC vents, a fast C-type USB charger, and a grand console with an armrest.

Things remain the same under the hood as the Camo Edition of Tata Punch continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder engine petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 85hp and 113Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or 5-speed AMT. In a CNG configuration, this engine puts out 77hp and 97Nm. The Punch CNG is only available in manual transmission.

Conclusion

Tata Punch hit the 4 lakh sales landmark back in August. A facelifted model of the SUV is currently in the works and will launch in the next two months. The compact SUV rivals the Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Citroen C3, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza in India.
