Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S launched at Rs 6.51 lakh

The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S has been launched in two powertrain options in India at a starting price of Rs 6.51 lakh. The Std(O) petrol variant costs Rs 6.51 lakh while the Std(O) CNG variant fetches Rs 7.36 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The Dzire Tour S is the third ‘Tour’ model from Maruti, following Ertiga and WagonR.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S: Everything you need to know

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S is based on the third-generation Dzire and gets slight tweaks to the front profile and LED tail lamp design. Maruti is offering the compact sedan in three colour options – Arctic White, Midnight Black, and Silky Silver. The sedan also receives new ‘Tour S’ badging on the tailgate. Other than that, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S looks exactly similar to the current Dzire.

The new Dzire Tour S gets a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, speed-sensitive door locks, manual air conditioning, ABS with EBD, ESP, dual airbags, speed limiting system, reverse parking sensors, and ISOFIX anchorages. The vehicle is underpinned by the Heartect platform that does duty on several other Maruti cars.

The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S is available in two powertrain options. The 1.2-litre K Series engine churns out a maximum power output of 90hp and 113Nm peak torque in a petrol powertrain. However, the same engine in the CNG configuration offers a maximum power output of 77hp and 98.5Nm peak torque. The petrol variant offers a fuel economy of 23.15kmpl, while the CNG variant has a fuel efficiency of 32.12km/kg. Both variants come with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Conclusion

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S is currently available through the automaker’s Arena dealerships and other commercial outlets across the country. Prices for the regular Dzire lineup start at Rs 6.44 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 9.31 lakh. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S rivals Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
