Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 9.14 lakh. Reports of Brezza CNG being in the works first emerged last year when the variant list of the SUV was accidentally published on Maruti’s website. Prices for Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG go all the way up to Rs 11.90 lakh for the top-spec Zxi trim. Brezza is now available in two powertrains – Petrol and CNG. Maruti discontinued the diesel engine for the compact SUV back in 2020.

There are no cosmetic changes on the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG apart from the ‘CNG’ branding. The compact SUV looks exactly like its petrol sibling. The CNG cylinders occupy a fair portion of the boot space, reducing the storage capacity. The top-spec ZXi variant of Brezza CNG comes with features like a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, and a sunroof. Smartphone connectivity features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also on offer.
Things remain the same under the hood as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG continues to be powered by Maruti’s K15C DualJet engine, just like its petrol counterpart. This is Maruti’s engine of choice on its other CNG offerings like Ertiga and XL6 as well. In a CNG configuration, this engine produces a maximum power output of 88hp and 121.5Nm peak torque. The petrol Brezza puts out 101hp and 136Nm. Brezza CNG comes with a manual transmission only, as is the case with all Maruti CNG offerings. It offers a claimed mileage of 25.51 km/kg.
