Mahindra XUV400 Pro: New features explained

Here is what the price list for the new Mahindra XUV400 Pro looks like.

Variant Battery Price
EC Pro 34.5kWh Rs 15.49 lakh
EL Pro 34.5kWh Rs 16.74 lakh
EL Pro 39.4kWh Rs 17.49 lakh

The biggest change on the Mahindra XUV400 Pro comes in the form of a new dashboard design and layout. Studded on this dashboard is a new 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. The AC vents have been repositioned at the bottom of this infotainment system. The outgoing SUV had AC vents along the sides of the touchscreen display. The XUV400 Pro also gets a new interface for HVAC controls, including two rotary control knobs. Between these two knobs lies the new multi-information display.

The interior also gets some cosmetic changes. The all-black look of the cabin has been replaced by a black-and-beige dual-tone colour theme. The passenger side of the dashboard gets a glossy black finish. The AC vents get a copper finish on their borders. The steering wheel has a flat bottom design and integrated controls. The SUV also gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The touchscreen infotainment display and the digital instrument cluster run the new Adrenox OS. This means they get connected car tech features. The Mahindra XUV400 is equipped with features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, Alexa support, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, and rear USB ports & AC vents.

Mechanically, the Mahindra XUV400 Pro remains unchanged. The 34.5 kWh battery pack offers a driving range of up to 375km while the 39.4 kWh battery pack can power the vehicle up to 456km. The battery pack can fully charge in 6.5 hours using a 7.2kW/32A outlet and 13 hours while using a 3.3kW/16A outlet. With a DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0-80% in under 50 minutes. The electric motor in the XUV400 Pro can produce a maximum power of 150hp and 310Nm peak torque. The SUV can go from 0-100kmph in 8.3 seconds and has a top speed of 150kmph. There are three driving modes on offer – Fun, Fast, and Fearless.
