Mahindra XUV 3XO buyers face waiting periods of up to 6 months

Launched in April 2024, Mahindra XUV 3XO has garnered a lot of interest among buyers in a very short duration. Mahindra XUV 3XO: Here’s how long you need to wait for the SUV

Here is a breakdown of the waiting period for all variants of the Mahindra XUV 3XO.

Trim level Petrol Diesel
MX1 Up to 6 months
MX2/Pro 3-4 months Up to 1 month
MX3/Pro 3-4 months Up to 1 month
AX5 Up to 4 months Up to 1 month
AX5 L 2-3 months
AX7 2-3 months Up to 1 month
AX7 L 2-3 months Up to 1 month

The entry-level MX1 trim of the Mahindra XUV 3XO demands the highest waiting period. This is because Mahindra is prioritising the production of more popular variants. The MX1 trim, along with the top-spec AX7 trim was rolled out for deliveries one month after the popular variants. The AX5 AX5L, MX3, and MX3 Pro variants are in the most demand. The automaker is ramping up the production of these trims to keep the waiting period down.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is packed with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, another 10.25-inch screen for the digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, a 7-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, wireless charging, and more. One of the biggest highlights of the XUV 3XO is the Level 2 ADAS package. The SUV’s dashboard and cabin layout is similar to the XUV400.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is available in 3 powertrain options. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mStallion direct-injection turbo-petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 131hp and 230Nm torque. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol puts out 110hp. The 1.5-litre diesel engine generates a power output of 117hp. These engines can be mated to manual and AMT gearboxes.
