Tata Motors has expanded its โ€˜Festival of Carsโ€™ campaign to cover its EV portfolio as well. Previously, the automaker had announced festive discounts on its most popular ICE offerings in India. Now, it is offering discounts of up to Rs 3 lakh on its popular all-electric cars. Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV, and Tiago EV are eligible for these discounts. The Tigor EV and the newly launched Curvv EV have not received any offers.

Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV, & Tiago EV: Check out the new prices

Here is the effective price list for the three Tata EVs. These discounts are valid till October 31.

Buyers availing of these discounts will also be offered 6-months of free charging at Tata Power charging points.

Tata Nexon EV

Announcing this never-before celebration, Mr Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, โ€œOur singular purpose at TATA.ev is to mainstream EVs, by breaking barriers and making EVs more accessible to regular car buyers. With these special, limited period prices, we are breaking the high acquisition cost barrier for EVs, and bringing EV prices closer to similar petrol and/or diesel-powered vehicles. Customers now have the perfect opportunity to start enjoying our new age, high-performance, zero emission and zero noise EVs, which also offer low running costs and greater driving comfort. Customers will additionally benefit immensely from the complimentary public charging offering at Tata Power chargers. We look forward to welcoming customers at their nearest Tata Motors and TATA.ev showrooms as they join the EV revolution.โ€

Tata Nexon EV is available in two variants โ€“ MR and LR. The former gets a 30kWh battery pack that offers a driving range of 325km. Meanwhile, the 40.5kWh battery pack on the LR variant can go up to 465km on a full charge. Talking about the power specs, the Tata Nexon EV MR puts out 129hp and 215Nm, while the LR variants produces 145hp and 215Nm.

Tata Punch EV: Everything you need to know

The Long Range (35kWh battery pack) variants of the Punch EV produce a maximum power output of 122hp and 190Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Standard (25kWh battery pack) variant puts out 82hp and 114Nm. The former can go from 0-100kmph in 9.5 seconds with the top speed capped at 140kmph. The latter can accomplish the same feat in 13.5 seconds.

The Tiago EV is available in two battery pack options โ€“ 19.2kWh and 24kWh. Both battery packs are rated IP67 for dust and water resistance. Tata claims a Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC) range of 315 km for the 24kWh battery pack and 250km for the 19.2kWh battery. The PMS motor on the EV produces a peak power output of 55kW and an instant full torque delivery of 114Nm.

Conclusion

As mentioned earlier, these discounts will expire on October 31, 2024. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock. Tata Motors currently has the most diverse and affordable electric vehicle portfolio out of all the automakers in the country.
