Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition delivery rollout begins in Mumbai

Mahindra Auto has started rolling out the deliveries for the Batman Edition of the BE 6 EV. 16 units of the limited edition Mahindra BE 6 were delivered to their respective customers in Mumbai yesterday. The delivery rollout event was attended by over 100 guests, including actors Akanksha Singh and Sunny Singh. The Batman Edition will be produced in a limited capacity, with only 999 units up for grabs. The electric SUV has already sold out in India.

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition: The Dark Knight EV hits the road

The Batman Edition of the Mahindra BE 6 takes design inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy. It comes in a custom Satin Black exterior paint shade. The body claddings have a glossy texture. The front doors rock custom Batman decals. The SUV rests on 20-inch alloy wheels. The brake callipers and suspension are finished in Alchemy Gold.

The rear end of the EV has a ‘BE 6 x The Dark Knight’ badge. The rear door cladding has a ‘Batman Edition’ sticker. The Bat emblem is present on the hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, infinity roof, windows, and rear windshield. The carpet lamps project the Bat logo.

Inside, the dashboard of the special edition EV has a brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque. The serial number of the model is present on this plaque. The cockpit is surrounded by a gold halo. The instrument panel has a charcoal leather finish. The steering wheel, Electronic Parking Brake, in-touch controller, and key fob have gold accents. The seats, ‘boost’ button, and interior labels are embossed with the bat emblem. The infotainment system has Batman-inspired graphics. 

The limited edition BE 6 is powered by the same electric motor as the rest of the lineup. Since it is based on the Pack Three variants, it generates a maximum power output of 286hp and 380Nm. There are special Batman-themed engine sounds onboard. The 79kWh battery pack can go up to 682km on a single charge, as claimed by ARAI. It can be charged with 7.2kW or 11kW home AC adapters.

Final Thoughts

The Batman Edition of the Mahindra BE 6 is priced at Rs 27.79 lakh. As mentioned earlier, all 999 available units of the SUV have already sold out. The delivery rollout in other cities across India will commence in the coming days. The standard version of the EV rivals the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, and MG ZS EV.
