The new Kia Seltos facelift has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10.89 lakh. The top-spec variant of the Seltos facelift fetches Rs 19.80 lakh. Bookings for Kia Seltos are currently open. Buyers can book the SUV for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Current Seltos owners can cut down the waiting period by generating a special ‘K-Code’ from Kia’s official website or the MyKia app.

In terms of features, the new Kia Seltos facelift gets a 10.25-inch twin-screen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay support and a digital driver display. The AC vents are now sleeker and the HVAC media controls panel gets a slight redesign as well. There are new interior colour options on offer for the GT and X-Line variants. The ADAS package on the Seltos facelift consists of 17 safety features.
The Kia Seltos facelift retains the 1.5L petrol and 1.5L turbo-diesel engine options. The 1.4L turbo-petrol has been discontinued due to its failure to meet the new BS6 Phase II norms. The 1.5-litre petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 144Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine puts out 116hp and 250Nm. The petrol can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. The diesel engine gets the option of a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Kia has already received over 13,000 bookings for the new Seltos. The SUV competes in the midsize SUV segment in India. It rivals the likes of Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder.
