Hyundai Creta King launched in India at a starting price of Rs 17.89 lakh

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has added a new ‘King’ variant to Creta’s lineup. Prices for the Hyundai Creta King start at Rs 17.89 lakh and go up to Rs 20.61 lakh. This variant also comes in Knight and Limited editions. The new trim has been launched to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Creta in India. Some of the features from the King variants have been passed down to the regular variants of the SUV as well.

Here is the price list for all the new ‘King’ variants of the Hyundai Creta.

Cosmetic changes on the Hyundai Creta King are limited to exclusive ‘King’ badging and a new Matte Black paint shade. Feature upgrades on the new variant include new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a powered driver’s seat with memory function, an 8-way adjustable electric seat for the passenger, a front row seatback table with an IT device holder and a retractable cup holder, a dashcam, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity (using an adapter), dual zone AC with a touch panel, and a sliding front console armrest with storage.

The King Limited Edition features exclusive ‘King’ branding on the seat belt cover, headrest cushion, carpet mat, and key cover. The Knight Edition for the King variant gets the iconic all-black look. While the standard King variant is available with all 5 powertrains, its Limited and Knight editions are only available with 1.5L Petrol CVVT and 1.5L Diesel AT powertrains.

Selected variants of the Hyundai Creta have now been upgraded with 18-inch alloys, dual-zone AC, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a dashcam. This includes the N Line variants.

Final Thoughts

The Hyundai Creta range starts at Rs 14.49 lakh. Its N Line variants are priced between Rs 18.46 lakh and Rs 20.66 lakh. The SUV rivals Maruti Suzuki Grand VitaraToyota Urban Cruiser HyRyderKia SeltosVolkswagen TaigunHonda ElevateCitroen C3 Aircross, and Skoda Kushaq.
