The 1.5-litre diesel engines produce a maximum power output of 116hp. These engines remain unchanged from the outgoing model. The new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine which replaces the 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit produces a maximum power output of 160hp. All three engines can be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT.
In terms of design, the Creta facelift sports updated looks, which brings it on par with the newer Hyundai SUVs. The grille up front is now wider and has a sleek LED light bar running across it. This light bar merges with the L-shaped fragmented DRLs on either end. The LED headlamps are housed in the bumper. The new grille gets chrome, aluminium, and piano black highlights. At the back, the tail lamps follow the design language of the DRLs and are connected by a light bar. Apart from a new design for the alloy wheels, the profile of the SUV remains the same.
The highlight in terms of features is the new Level 2 ADAS package which consists of features like Forward Collison Warning & Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Blind Spot Collison Warning & Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, and more. There are a total of 19 functions in this package. Other features include a dual-zone climate control system, an air purifier, a Bose sound system, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, USB Type-C ports for the rear passengers, and more.
The dashboard of the SUV is integrated with twin 10.25-inch displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. The dual-zone climate control system is housed right below the infotainment display unit. There are physical buttons on this console which control other aspects of the SUV as well.
