Discounts of up to Rs 1.05 lakh offered on Volkswagen Taigun, Virtus

Volkswagen is offering heavy discounts on two of its offerings, Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus. Buyers can avail discounts up to Rs 1.05 lakh in the form of cash benefits, exchange bonuses, loyalty bonuses, and a complimentary four-year service package. Prices for the Volkswagen Taigun were recently hiked by Rs 26,000, and this is the first time that Volkswagen is offering a discount on the SUV.

Volkswagen Taigun

Volkswagen Taigun recently scored the highest rating possible (five stars) in the Global NCAP tests, making it one of the safest SUVs in India. The Taigun is currently available in two engine options. The 1.5-litre TSI engine produces a maximum power of 150hp and 250Nm peak torque. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre TSI engine produces a maximum power of 115hp and 178Nm peak torque. 

Customers can avail a discount of up to Rs 1.05 lakh on the manual variant of the 1.5L Volkswagen Taigun. This includes a cash benefit of Rs 50,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, a loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000, and a complimentary four-year service package priced at Rs 25,000.

Volkswagen is also offering a discount of up to Rs 55,000 on the automatic variants of the 1.5L Taigun. This includes an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, a loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000, and a complimentary service package worth Rs 25,000.

The 1.0L Taigun also receives a discount of up to Rs 70,000. This includes a cash benefit of Rs 25,000 along with other additional discounts.

Volkswagen Virtus

The midsize sedan from Volkswagen also comes in two engine configurations. The 1.0-litre TSI Dynamic Line trim produces a maximum power of 113hp and 175Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-litre TSI Performance Line trim produces 148hp and 250Nm torque. 

Volkswagen is offering discounts of up to Rs 30,000 on the Comfortline and Highline trims. The Topline trim gets a discount of Rs 10,000. The high-end 1.5-litre GT variant of the Volkswagen Virtus also gets a discount of Rs 10,000.

Conclusion 

These discounts will be made available throughout the month of October. The benefits may vary according to the region and variant of the model. The Volkswagen Taigun rivals Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Toyota HyRyder, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, while the Virtus rivals Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia, and Maruti Ciaz.
