Citroen is offering significant year-end discounts on its India portfolio. The newly launched Citroen Basalt is available with discounts for the first time. The crossover was launched in India in August 2024. Other Citroen offerings like the Aircross, C3, and eC3 are also available with massive discounts. The automaker sold only 3,886 cars in India between June and November 2024.

Citroen Basalt
Maximum Discount: Rs 80,000
Citroen Basalt is available with discounts worth up to Rs 80,000 across all four of its variants. The value of the discount package will differ among the variants. Citroen Basalt is available in two engine options. The 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 110hp and 190Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox (where it produces 205Nm of torque). On the Aircross SUV, this engine offers a mileage of 18.5 kmpl. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine puts out 82hp and 115Nm. This engine can only be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Citroen Aircross
Maximum Discount: Rs 1.75 lakh
The Aircross SUV, which used to be known as the C3 Aircross, is available with discounts worth up to Rs 1.75 lakh. The Aircross is available in two engine options. The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 82hp and 115Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is not available in automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine on the Citroen Aircross continues to put out a maximum power output of 110hp and 190Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 6-manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Citroen C3
Maximum Discount: Rs 1 lakh
Citroen’s cheapest car in India, the C3 hatchback is available with discounts worth up to Rs 1 lakh. It is powered by the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 82hp and 115Nm of torque. This is the same engine as the Aircross and Basalt. Prices for the C3 start at Rs 6.16 lakh and go up to Rs 10.27 lakh.
Citroen eC3
Maximum Discount: Rs 80,000
The eC3 is Citroen’s only all-electric offering in India. It is available with discounts worth up to Rs 80,000. Powering the eC3 is a single electric motor that can produce a peak power output of 57hp and 143Nm torque. In comparison, the ICE C3 produces 110hp and 190Nm. Its nearest rival, Tata Tiago EV produces a maximum power of 74hp (55 kW) and 114Nm peak torque. The 29.2 kWh battery pack on the EV offers a driving range of 320km. The eC3 is priced between 12.76 lakh – Rs 13.56 lakh in India.

Conclusion
As mentioned earlier, these discounts will expire at the end of December. The total amount of the discount package may vary depending on the variant, location, dealership, and availability of stock.
