The 5-door version of Force Gurkha mimics the design of its 3-door counterpart. It can seat 7 people, with an additional third row added at the back. Unsurprisingly, it will also be a bigger vehicle than its 3-door counterpart which currently stands at dimensions of 4,116 x 1,812 x 2,075 mm.
The 5-door Force Gurkha could be released with multiple seating options. The 6-seat variant will get captain seats for all three rows. Meanwhile, the 7-seat variant will get captain seats for the first and third rows and a bench seat for the middle row. Finally, the 9-seat variant will have a bench seat in the middle row followed by two parallel benches in the third row.
The interior layout of the 5-door Force Gurkha will be exactly the same as its 3-door counterpart. This means the lifestyle SUV will get a dark grey dashboard, manual AC unit, and touchscreen infotainment system. The exact specs and instrumentation list will be revealed upon launch.
Under the hood, the 5-door Force Gurkha will retain the 2.6-litre diesel engine sourced from Mercedes. This engine is capable of generating maximum power of 91bhp and 250Nm peak torque. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. A 4 Wheel Drive variant will also be on offer.
