2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 Launched In India: Aggressive Design With Premium Comfort

The much-awaited all-new 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift has finally been launched today in India. Mr Hisashi Takeuchi, MD, Maruti Suzuki India was also present at the occasion. The premium SUV comes with a range of new upgrades on the front of its cosmetics, safety and comfort equipment as well as powertrain options. It will be seen competing against the all-new Kia Carens along with Mahindra Marazzo and others in the 3-row passenger vehicle segment. 

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes with an aggressive design in an SUV stance, thanks to its new front chrome grille with a bold sweeping X-bar along with 16-inch machine-finished alloy wheels. On its exterior, it will be featuring gloss black finish B and C pillars, a shark-fin antenna and sophisticated smoke-finished 3D LED tail lamps for a more pronounced signature design language. Chrome accentuation is continued in the rear amplifying its premium character.

Speaking of the XL6 2022 interiors, it features perforated upholstery, ventilated seats in the front row, comfortable 2nd-row ‘Captain Seats’, dark green UV-cut glass for more than 82% UV obstruction, IR cut windscreen complimented by a roof-mounted AC system, telescopic steering, ambient cabin lights in the front foot area, front door courtesy lamp and much more. It accommodates the daily demands of any modern family by offering a versatile cabin that adapts seating and luggage requirements. 

The all-new 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with advanced voice assist which comes to life by just saying ‘Hi Suzuki’. The Suzuki Connect tech support turns the AC on remotely even before you enter the car. On the front of safety, the 2022 XL6 features quad airbags (dual front and dual front side), ESP, hill hold assist, reverse parking sensors, 2nd-row Iso-Fix mounts, driver and co-driver seat belt reminders and a 360-degree view camera, all of which come standard across all its variants. Furthermore, the brand also introduces Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) into the vehicle.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift comes with new powertrain options. It will be powered by the Next Gen K-Series 1.5L engine equipped with an advanced smart hybrid technology that comes with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. It offers a refined drive and a higher fuel-efficiency thanks to the dual-ejector technology coupled with a higher compression ratio. The premium 3-row SUV also offers up to 11.2% reduced CO2 emissions. It will be offered in 4 variants, 3 new vibrant dual-tone colour options along with 6 monotone colours. 

The XL6 2022 price in India starts from Rs 11.29 lakhs and goes up to Rs 14.55 lakhs (ex-showroom) for its highest trim.
