TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition launched at Rs 1.30 lakh

TVS has launched the new 2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition at the price of Rs 1.30 lakh. The Special Edition gets some cosmetic and mechanical tweaks along with a new colour option. The new Apache also gets some updated features. The motorbike is available across all authorised TVS dealerships in India.

2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition: What’s new?

The major cosmetic changes to the TVS Apache RTR 160 include the addition of a new ‘Pearl White’ colour. The motorbike is now available in Matte Black Special Edition and Pearl White colours. The Apache RTR 160 Special Edition gets red highlights on the alloy wheels, seating, and fuel tank.

TVS has also made a mechanical change on the Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition. The motorbike gets a new ‘Bullpup’ exhaust which is inspired by a machine gun of the same name. Apache claims this new Bullpup exhaust is 1kg lighter than the one on the standard model. The Special Editon also gets adjustable brake and clutch levers as standard. This is a first-in-segment feature for the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition.

There are no other mechanical changes on the Apache RTR 160 Special Edition. The motorbike continues to be powered by the 159.7cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 17.55hp and 14.73Nm peak torque. Braking duties are handled by a 270mm petal disc at the front and a 200mm petal disc at the rear.

Conclusion

The Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition also comes with three riding modes – Urban, Sport, and Rain. The top speed of the motorbike has been capped at 114kmph in Sport mode. The Apache RTR 160 also comes with TVS’ SmartXonnect feature which offers smartphone connectivity. The Special Edition can now be bought at a price of Rs 1,30,090.
