TVS Jupiter ZX Drum launched in India at Rs 84,468

TVS SmartXonnect tech is finally available on a drum variant of the Jupiter.

TVS Motor Company has refreshed the Jupiter lineup with a new variant. The new TVS Jupiter ZX Drum variant has been priced at Rs 84,468 and comes with the company’s SmartXonnect tech. This tech was previously only available with the disc brake variant of Jupiter. A drum variant drives down the cost making the SmartXonnect tech more affordable.

TVS Jupiter ZX Drum: What’s on offer?

TVS Jupiter ZX Drum gets a Bluetooth-connected digital cluster enabled with TVS SmartXonnect Technology. The SmartXonnect tech offers features like voice assist, turn-by-turn navigation, and call & SMS alerts. The scooter also comes with a built-in mobile charger. These features allow riders to stay connected on the go while ensuring a seamless and safe journey. The scooter is available in two colour variants – Starlight Blue and Olive Gold.

TVS Jupiter ZX Drum: What’s on offer?

TVS Jupiter ZX Drum retains the same powertrain as the rest of the lineup. The scooter is powered by an air-cooled 109cc single-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum power output of 7.8hp and 8.8Nm of torque. As the name suggests, the braking duties are handled by drum units at the front and rear. The scooter gets a combination of telescopic fork and mono-shock units for the suspension. The 109cc engine is underpinned by an underbone frame.

TVS Jupiter ZX Drum: What’s on offer?

There are no cosmetic changes on the new ZX Drum variant of TVS Jupiter. The scooter retains chrome accents and LED DRLs. It also gets the signature 3D emblem. The inner panels of the scooter are painted, like the rest of the lineup. The ZX Drum variant does not get diamond-cut alloy wheels as it is a feature that is reserved for the top-spec disc variants.
