TVS Jupiter has crossed the 8 lakh sales landmark in India. In the last decade, TVS has sold over 10 million scooters in India. 63% of these sales comprise the Jupiter and Jupiter 125. The automaker sold 8,44,863 units of the Jupiter in FY2024, creating a domestic sales record. At present, TVS enjoys a 25% market share in the two-wheeler scooter segment.

TVS Jupiter cements its legacy in India
In FY2023, TVS sold 7,29,546 units of the Jupiter. This year, the company recorded a sales growth of 16% for the scooter, crossing the 8 lakh sales milestone and setting a new domestic record. Other big sellers in TVS’ portfolio include the Raider 125 (4,78,443 units), XL (4,81,803 units), and the Apache series (3,78,112 units).
TVS Jupiter is available in two engine configurations – 109.7cc and 124.8cc. The 125cc variant is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine which puts out a maximum power of 6kW @ 6,500 rpm and produces 10.5Nm @ 4,500 rpm of peak torque. The company has tuned this engine to produce maximum power without compromising the fuel economy. Meanwhile, the air-cooled 109cc single-cylinder engine delivers a maximum power output of 7.8hp and 8.8Nm of torque.
The 109cc TVS Jupiter is equipped with Bluetooth-connected digital cluster enabled with TVS SmartXonnect Technology. The SmartXonnect tech offers features like voice assist, turn-by-turn navigation, and call & SMS alerts. The scooter also comes with a built-in mobile charger. These features allow riders to stay connected on the go while ensuring a seamless and safe journey. The scooter is available in two colour variants – Starlight Blue and Olive Gold. Meanwhile, the Jupiter 125 rocks a semi-digital LCD display that shows information such as smart alerts, distance to empty, average and real-time mileage indicators.
