Ola S1 X, S1 Air, Gen 2 S1 Pro: Setting the benchmark

Ola S1 X is the most affordable electric scooter from Ola right now. It is available in three variants with prices starting from Rs 89,999. This makes the S1 X the new entry-level scooter in the S1 lineup. The base variant of the Ola S1 X gets a 2kWh battery while the two higher variants get a 3kWh battery pack. The former offers a driving range of 91km while the latter two can go up to 151km on a single charge. The mid-spec variant costs Rs 99,999, while the top-spec Ola S1 X+ fetches Rs 1,09,999.

Ola Gen 2 S1 Pro is based on the automaker’s new Gen 2 platform. It can generate a maximum power output of 11kW while reaching a top speed of 120kmph. The Gen 2 S1 Pro can go from 0-40kmph in 2.6 seconds. The scooter offers a driving range of 195km. It gets a flat floorboard, similar to the Ola S1 X and S1 Air.

Ola S1 Air gets a 3kWh battery pack that offers a driving range of 125km. It retains the design of the S1 Pro. The storage capacity of the S1 Air is 34 litres, which is pretty close to the flagship variant. Suspension duties on the S1 Air are handled by a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. The electric scooter gets standard drum brakes on both wheels.
