Hero Karizma XMR: Key Details

Launched in August, the new Hero Karizma XMR carries forward the signature look of the series but gets some important cosmetic updates. The edgy LED headlight comes with an adjustable windscreen on top. The side fairings covering the engine and chassis are now sleeker, giving the motorbike a sportier look. The XMR gets a split seat setup as well. It is available in three colour options – Yellow, Red, and Matte Black.

The new Hero Karizma XMR is powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that can generate a maximum power output of 25.5hp @ 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm of torque @ 7,250rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the back. The motorbike gets a telescopic fork suspension up front, and an adjustable mono-shock unit at the rear.

In terms of features, the Hero Karizma XMR gets an LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS and call notifications support, and more. The motorbike receives LED lighting as a standard feature across the lineup. It is also the first Hero motorbike to receive dual-channel ABS.

Mr Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Business Officer (India Business Unit), Hero MotoCorp said, “The new Karizma XMR has already created a lot of excitement among the customers. The response has been great and this is a true testament to the trust that our customers have placed in this iconic legend. The production for the new Karizma has already started and we will soon commence the deliveries. We are confident of offering an exceptional riding experience to the customers this festive season.”
