What to expect from the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq?
The Skoda Kodiaq has been spotted testing on multiple occasions recently – sometimes with 2 test mules. This leads us to believe that the SUV will be launched in 2 trims. The ‘Butterfly’ grille will be the highlight of the front fascia of the SUV. This grille will be flanked by LED headlamps and DRLs on either side. The alloy wheels of the new Kodiaq get a new design. The wraparound LED tail lamps at the back are connected by a sleek light bar.
The next-gen Skoda Kodiaq will be a bigger vehicle than its outgoing version. This will result in more cabin room, leg space, and boot capacity inside the SUV. The Kodiaq will likely be offered in a 7-seat layout. In terms of instrumentation, the SUV will likely receive the 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with the 10-inch digital instrument cluster from its international sibling. Other features will include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, physical switches for drive modes, wireless charging, and more.
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq will stick with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine from its predecessor. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 190hp and 320Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Skoda may tune this engine to produce a higher output on the next-gen Kodiaq.

Conclusion
The current-gen Skoda Kodiaq is priced between Rs 38.50 lakh – Rs 39.99 lakh in India. At the time of launch, it was available in 3 variants – Style, Sportline, and L&K. The 2 entry-level trims were discontinued later down the line. The next-gen Kodiaq could cost over Rs 40 lakh. Its price will be revealed upon its launch in April/May 2025. Once the SUV is launched, it will rival the likes of the MG Gloster, Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Jeep Compass in India.
