Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has added a new ‘Summer Edition’ to the Creta lineup. Prices for the special edition Hyundai Creta start at Rs 12.06 lakh and go up to Rs 17.89 lakh. It brings certain top-spec features to mid-tier variants. The Summer Edition is available only with the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. It comes in EX, EX (O), S(O), S(O) Knight, SX, and SX Premium trims.

The 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines generate a maximum power output of 115hp. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (not available with the Summer Edition) puts out 160hp. All three engines can be mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed DCT gearbox.

Final Thoughts
Prices for the regular Creta lineup start at Rs 10.72 lakh and go up to Rs 20.20 lakh. The midsize SUV will be updated with a new model next year. It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Citroen Aircross, and Skoda Kushaq.
