The Hilux serves a very small niche of buyers in India and Toyota has been trying to boost the sales of the pickup truck with discount offers and buyback schemes. Back in March, the automaker announced an assured 70% buyback scheme for the pickup truck. Currently, the Toyota Hilux rivals Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in India.
